Meet your provider

Care begins with a genuine human connection.

I’m Judith, DNP, PMHNP-BC. I created Sun Valley Psyche to offer a more personal, transparent, and collaborative experience of psychiatric care.

A personal welcome

I’m glad you’re here.

Reaching out for mental health support can feel vulnerable. My first priority is to create a space where you don’t have to edit your experience or worry about being judged.

As a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring six years of clinical experience to each visit. Just as importantly, I bring curiosity, patience, and respect for your expertise in your own life.

We’ll take time to understand what has been happening, what matters most to you, and what kind of support feels realistic. I’ll explain my clinical thinking in plain language, invite your questions, and work with you to shape a plan that fits.

Warmly,
Judith

My approach & strengths

Expert guidance. Shared decisions. No judgment.

Good care is not something done to you. It’s a partnership that grows through listening, trust, and honest communication.

01

Genuine partnership

You bring lived experience; I bring clinical expertise. Together, we identify priorities, consider options, and make decisions that reflect your goals.

02

Active listening

Your story is more than a checklist of symptoms. I listen for the details, patterns, strengths, and concerns that make your experience uniquely yours.

03

A judgment-free space

You’re welcome to speak openly about difficult thoughts, past experiences, medication concerns, or uncertainty. Questions and honesty are encouraged.

Looking at the whole picture

Mental health lives in context.

Your care considers more than symptoms alone. We may explore the parts of daily life that can influence how you feel and function.

  • Sleep and energy: patterns that affect mood, focus, and resilience.
  • Culture and identity: the values and experiences that shape how you understand wellness.
  • Relationships and environment: sources of connection, stress, and support.
  • Lifestyle and physical health: routines, movement, nutrition, and medical factors.
  • Strengths and coping: what is already helping and what we can build upon.

Let’s talk about what support could look like for you.
